Combat Wounded Veterans Challenge

Our mission is to partner with various Universities, medical professionals, and institutions to help gather research on PTSD, TBI, and Orthotics & Prosthetics so we can better understand the difficulties faced by wounded or injured veterans daily.
In addition, the challenges we organize instill confidence and pride in the veterans that participate, better enabling them to realize their full potential and continue to contribute to helping others.

CWVC’s purpose is to create environments that enable researchers to observe wounded veterans in challenging environments to gather information on TBI, PTSD, and orthotics in order to help improve treatments and orthotics for all injured veterans.
We focus our efforts on SCUBA, Mountaineering, and Sailing Challenges while helping to research and look for innovations in field-based assessments/treatment of Orthotics & Prosthetics, Post Traumatic Stress, and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Suncoast Charities For Children

“Serving children, teens, and adults with special needs since 1985”

Suncoast Charities for Children is a 501(c)(3) that provides funding support to the Suncoast Foundation which over the years has constructed area facilities valued at over $20 Million. These facilities are located in North Port, Venice, and Sarasota and last year provided services to approx. 5,000 special needs children, teens, adults, and their families. Net proceeds raised from special events and donations help maintain some of these aging facilities and support special project requests. This is beneficial so that the non-profit agencies who occupy these facilities for only $1 per year, can direct their program and service money towards the clients they serve. Special project requests submitted by these five non-profit agencies listed below are also reviewed and considered for future funding.

Tony Stewart Foundation

The mission of the Tony Stewart Foundation is to provide grant funding to well-qualified organizations serving children who are critically ill or physically disabled; animals at-risk or endangered, and drivers injured in the sport of motor racing.
